Buck Road Animal Hospital is looking to hire a full-time experienced veterinarianWe are looking for a new veterinarian to begin early 2024The position may be available sooner for the right candidateWe are a 100% family owned hospitalThere is NO corporate involvement whatsoeverWe prioritize patient care, customer service and employee quality of lifeWe are constantly looking for ways to improveMany may find our hospital a rewarding work environmentWe are a lower volume, higher quality hospitalWe have 30 minute wellness and sickness examsWe are currently open Monday through FridayIn the future, we hope to re-open on SaturdaysPrior to the Covid-19, BRAH had Saturday hoursWe believe what is best for the patient and client is best for our hospital s long-term successWe believe practicing modern and thorough medicine leads to happy loyal clientsWe are trusted by our clientsCompensation will not be commission-basedYou will not be incentivized to push unwarranted treatments and productsWe see medical, surgical, dental and emergency casesAlthough we work as a team, you will determine what is best for your patientsWe utilize local specialists and emergency hospitals when it is in the best interest of the patientsWe employ a board-certified traveling surgeon for orthopedics and challenging soft tissue surgical casesWe regularly utilize radiology consults for x-raysWe are looking for an experienced veterinarian that enjoys surgery, internal medicine and dentistryWe expect our new hire to be adept in these areasYou must practice modern medicine by keeping up with changing standard-of-care and practicing current medical techniquesWe perform many extensive COHATs with extractionsWe only refer dental cases when complicating factors exist (significant systemic illness etc )You must be experienced utilizing modern dental techniques for dental extractions such as gingival flaps and alveolectomyWe have an array of modern equipment:
two high speed dental units, two digital dental x-rays (one hand held), an IM3 vet-tome, a Vet-scapel CO2 surgical laser, Companion cold therapy laser, two electrosurgical units, ultrasound etc We are happy to add equipment if it improves patient carePerhaps most importantly, you must be liked by our clients and have an agreeable nature with staffWe laugh a lot at BRAHMost of us spend more time at the hospital with our co-workers than we do with our families so it must be a fun work environment with good natured peopleWe are looking for candidates that are looking for the same thingOverall compensation will equal what is required to find the ideal candidateJob Type:
