We are looking for a caring and organized Call Center Representative to join our medical practice in the Southampton, PA office.
You will be responsible for an array of activities related to patient care, including scheduling and confirming appointments, triaging patient symptoms, and verifying information supplied by patients.
You should be able to work in a high-volume call center and demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
Full time position, Monday through Friday 8:
00am-5:
00pm.
One Saturday per month 8:
00am-12pm.
To be successful as a Patient Representative you must be able to facilitate and coordinate communication between patients, family members, and medical staff.
Patient Representative
Responsibilities:
Scheduling patient appointments and making reminder calls.
Obtaining patients' addresses, contact details, insurance information, and medical histories.
Answering, investigating, and/or directing patient inquiries or complaints to the appropriate medical staff member.
Following up with patients to ensure their inquiry or complaint has been satisfactorily resolved.
Informing patients about insurance requirements, copays or out of pocket costs Triage patient symptoms Education and
Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent Computer skills - proficient use of Microsoft Windows EHR experience preferred Skills, Knowledge, and Attributes Required:
Required English language proficiency Knowledge of customer service principles and practices Excellent customer service and communication skills (written and verbal), accompanied by active listening skills, patience, and stress tolerance Ability to work within a team structure Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Well organized, with attention to detail Ability to maintain the confidentiality and integrity of medical records and protected health information Reliability in meeting or exceeding attendance and punctuality standards Ability to work with normal supervision Job Type:
