The activities coordinator will develop/host activities for our participants of various age groups, schedule & organize the activity.
Along with the planning the activities coordinator will market and publicize registration, confirmation and marketing of each activity.
You will work collaboratively with a high-performance management team, volunteers and third-party vendors.
The position has three main components:
Activities design & implementation, Publicity - activity announcement including social media & website management.
Roles and Responsibilities The Activities Coordinator will/is:
Plan and host all activities (securing venues, entertainment & vendors, negotiating costs, and decorations) Execute and host activities/events including pre-event, set up, clean up and post event tasks Create events and activities flyers for marketing and promotion Publicizing all events on social media and Internet Manage activities/events attendance, wait lists and ensure participants have all waivers completed utilizing the registration database Maintain activities and events calendar a minimum of three months in advance Supply reporting and Activities P&L for monthly, quarterly and yearly budgeting Be the ACF representative during activities and events, proactively resolve issues and troubleshoot emergencies Liaise with participants and caregivers to identify their needs and to ensure participant satisfaction Qualifications and Education Requirements Education/
Experience:
Secondary degree in event planning and/or marketing preferred Experience with social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn Experience in Canva, Constant Contact, Ticket Leap Preferred but will teach Valid Driver's license Communication:
Excellent communication skills, written and oral, able to articulate clearly and concisely.
Social and in person networking experience Organizational Skills:
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while prioritizing.
Demonstrate the highest level of ethics and integrity.
Detailed oriented.
Ability to follow up and through on projects and timelines Ability to meet deadlines Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and all applications Excellent data entry skills Other Requirements:
