Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant - Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus - Assist guests with any special requests or accommodations - Manage the waitlist and seating arrangements to ensure efficient table turnover - Answer phone calls and take reservations or provide information to callers - Maintain a clean and organized host/host station - Collaborate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth service flow - Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner - Assist with food service tasks as needed Requirements:
- Previous experience as a host/host in a restaurant setting preferred - Familiarity with POS systems, such as Aloha POS, is a plus - Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills - Strong customer service and guest relations skills - Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment - Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds - Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays Join our team as a Host/Host and be part of creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.
