Your main duties will include:
- Greeting patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner - Answering phone calls and scheduling appointments - Verifying insurance information and collecting co-pays - Updating and maintaining patient records - Assisting with medical billing and coding - Handling incoming and outgoing correspondence - Ensuring the waiting area is clean and organized Skills To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Experience as a medical receptionist is preferred - Familiarity with electronic records software is a plus - Knowledge of front desk operations, including managing phone systems and handling administrative tasks - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
