Bethanna is hiring for a Specialized Behavioral Health Foster Care/ Resource Parent Support Worker to provide services to children and families. 

About the Job:

The Specialized Behavioral Health (SBH) Resource Parent Support (RPSW)/Treatment Foster Care (TFC) Worker provides support and case management services to the triad of clients (children/youth, their families and the resource family (kin/foster) referred to Bethanna by partnering County child welfare agencies. Child(ren)/youth placed in the care of kin/foster homes are receiving specialized treatment or therapeutic services. Bethanna staff must display a high degree of empathy and deliver the quality care necessary to ensure clients are supported and progressing toward the goal of Permanency.


In Treatment Foster Care cases, the worker provides case management services to the triad of clients, while in SBH RPSW cases, the worker provides non-case management supports to only the resource parents (foster/kin) who are caring for the child/youth placed in their home and receiving specialized behavioral health services. The worker carries a mixed case load of both, allowing for a range of experiences with children, youth, birth parents, kin, foster and adoptive parents, therapeutic providers, and community members working to provide stability and care for the child. 

The SBH RPSW/Treatment Foster Care worker is responsible for documentation and necessary paperwork related to their case load, maintaining contact with the child/youth, their family and permanency resources, and monitoring compliance with agency policies and procedures. The worker will ensure that they are communicating with their supervisor regularly about case practice and participating in necessary training to improve their practice.


  • A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field

  • A minimum of one (1) year experience providing services to children, youth and/or families in a behavioral health setting

This position requires that you have a driver's license and a vehicle that you can use for work purposes, and is part of an on-call rotation.
